Monday Musings- Books From My Younger Years

Do you have any books that inspired your childhood. A book that literally changed your 4th grade world? Maybe the first book that started your obsession with reading. Or maybe books that gave you life when you were really struggling with being embarrassed of your parents, your grades or what your mom made you wear for school pictures?

A few books that I looooovvvveeedd then and still love (well at least the concept of them, an easy read can annoy me) minus the Goosebumps series are:

Sideways Stories From Wayside School

Number the Stars

Ella Enchanted

Nancy Drew

Babysitters Club

Harry Potter

Lord of the Rings

The Chronicles of Narnia

The Screwtape Letters

Almost anything from Louis l’amour (Western Romances).

The Witch Of Blackbird Pond

Where the Red Fern Grows

To Kill A Mocking Bird

James and the Giant Peach

Did I miss any keepers??? Share them in the comments!

    • It was probably the most interesting book that a teacher ever read to my class. If that makes sense. I bet your boyfriend’s sister loves you! What a great gift idea. When I was a nanny I got it for the oldest boy to read. Secretly it was just so I could re read it.
